Melanie started her design & illustration career at the tender age of 5 in the play room of her parents’ house in Montclair, New Jersey. It was there that she perfected the art of drawing frogs. She sold her work to relatives in return for trips into Manhattan and pizza from Mr. Dino’s.
With a growing portfolio, she was accepted to the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) and earned her BFA in Graphic Design. She has over 20 years of design experience working with companies on both coasts.
Melanie spent time traveling to The Netherlands and living in Japan. These trips had a major influence on her design perspective and continues to be a source of inspiration.
Her experience ranges from working at small design studios, large corporations and non-profit institutions. She has worked on a wide range of projects including advertising, branding, packaging, apparel, and print collateral. Her diverse background is a source of creative flexibility that allow her to manage projects from concept to completion.
